After tracking transcriptions in a database, it was possible to produce statistics based on the burial index produced by OFHS.
The results are somewhat disappointing, but hardly surprising.
Gravestones sadly do not last forever, some may have never had gravestones at all, alas there is no way to know. It is also the parish council policy to remove loose stones.
Sometimes the grave is present but unreadable due to lichen or layers
of stone that have crumbled away; where possible we have tried our best to infer the occupants.
